Great question! Tight rotations can put a rotational stress on the knees, but the compression is fairly small. This definitely isn&#039;t an exercise that I would blindly recommend for anyone with knee pain/injuries to perform, but this player had performed the exercise before and was ahead of the curve regarding his rehabilitation time. I was also very sure to monitor his knee movement during the exercise to make sure he was relatively still from the waist down.
